dear atrists

Dear Artists,
First let me say ‘thank you’ from the bottom of my heart. How amazing it is to submerge in your arts, in your creation, in different forms. Be it writers, dancers, singers, actors, directors, musicians, storytellers, artists, craftsmen, content creators, photographers and every other person who has a creative mind and is sharing their arts with the world; I am thankful to you.

It does not matter if you are famous or not. Just know, you are still inspiring at least one person to take the first step in the creative journey.
It does not matter if you have a smaller number of admirers. Just remember, they are still rooting for you every day and they genuinely love you.
It doesn’t matter even if you are just doing it for yourself as long as it is feeding your soul.

I know, you get frustrated sometimes. Just take a few steps back. You will understand that you have come so far. Keep going. I understand, sometimes you feel lonely. Remember, it was all about letting go.

I have seen your heart, exhausted from feeling too much of everything. Sometimes you can’t even make sense of it. Others don’t understand either. Don’t be so hard on yourself.

I get surprised every time I get connected with your art. How those words are telling my story without knowing me. How those characters seem close to my heart without meeting them ever. How I get lost in every spin you take in dance, how music moves me without understanding the language, how a painting holds a life, how a photo captures the moment, how my fellow bookstagrammers and book lovers become the friends I never met.
Thank you all.

I am listening to piano music while writing this. And I don’t know why but I am crying like crazy. There’s no words, just music but it touches one tune in my heart that I have never felt before. Is it wrong to feel so much sometimes?

Dear Artists, keep going. We need you. You saved us during every uncertain time in history. You make us better humans, make us think and see things differently.
differently.

Dear Artists, thank you from an amateur writer, a storyteller who wants to make her life a living art. Let’s walk together until we meet on the other side.

Shall we?
