And finally it’s been a year.
Well, technically a year and one week.
A year of expressing my love to books with fellow bookish people.
A year of trying, starting, experimenting with the things that I have never thought of doing.
A year of making friends from all over the world being a private person.
A year of reading, learning, knowing about so many beautiful books.
A year of becoming educated about the things that I don’t know.
A year of creating a new identity, becoming a creator with my books and writing.
I have started the journey of a bookstagrammer on 24 May, 2020. I didn’t remember the day as it’s a personal account before. I did a little research to find out the day.
So I recreated my own photo to remind me of my beautiful journey. I am celebrating the moment when I started everything.
I am still learning and unlearning a lot of things. I am grateful to all of you who have been there for me from the very beginning.
I am grateful to the people who have joined me in between.
And I am grateful to the people with whom I will join in future.
I have made amazing friends here. You know I love you, right?
I have always felt safe here. This place is my home that I have built with love, kindness, compassion and of course with words.
Home is where your heart is, they say.
Books have been my love. And this place is a safe place for showing that love.
It is my home and you guys are my homies.
This one year here has been amazing. I hope that we will have more.
Thank you for being there.
It’s a privilege knowing you all and I will never trade this for world.
Happy Bookstaversary, Priya.
